Job Description
Description The Calibration / Metrology Technician is responsible for the pre‑commissioning, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of process and critical utility instrumentation. This role requires strong technical expertise in measurement and control systems, attention to detail, and strict adherence to regulatory and quality standards. The successful candidate will support plant operations by ensuring accurate, reliable instrumentation in a highly regulated manufacturing environment. Skills Calibration, Instrumentation, Test equipment, Troubleshooting, Biomedical, Electronics Top Skills Details Calibration,Instrumentation,Test equipment Additional Skills & Qualifications Perform pre‑commissioning, calibration, inspection, and troubleshooting of process instrumentation including pressure, temperature, weight, flow, conductivity, and density instruments Inspect, calibrate, test, and document equipment at defined intervals using procedures and standards traceable to nationally recognized standards Utilize calibrated tools and equipment such as: Multimeters Standardized weights Pressure calibrators Flow meters RTD and digital temperature calibrators Digital tachometers Maintain operational compliance with applicable regulatory and quality standards including FDA, DEA, EU, HC, TGA, PIC/S, ISO, USP, NRC, and cGMP Coordinate calibration activities with internal departments and external service providers to ensure timely completion and return of equipment to service Accurately document calibration results, maintain detailed records, and generate required reports Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot instrumentation and system performance issues Inspect, calibrate, and maintain process and critical utility instrumentation to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance Support plant operations through additional assigned duties as required Adhere to all safety, quality, and procedural requirements Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Noblesville, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
