Job Description

About the Role As an Industrial Automation Technician, you will serve as a critical technical resource for maintaining high-uptime manufacturing environments. You will leverage your expertise in PLC systems and electromechanical troubleshooting to optimize equipment performance and drive reliability across our automated production lines. Responsibilities Ensure operational continuity by performing expert-level maintenance and repair on electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems. Minimize downtime by diagnosing faults in PLC-controlled machinery, HMIs, VFDs, and complex industrial networks. Maintain the integrity of automated assets, including CNC mills, robotic cells, conveyors, and precision refining equipment. Interpret complex electrical schematics, ladder logic, and technical documentation to execute precise repairs. Drive continuous improvement by assisting with controls modifications and automation reliability upgrades. Execute a balanced maintenance strategy encompassing preventive, predictive, and corrective tasks to maximize equipment lifespan. Uphold rigorous safety standards, including strict adherence to lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols. Qualifications Required Skills Proven experience in industrial electrical systems, including 120/208/240/480V environments. Strong proficiency in PLC troubleshooting, wiring, and logic analysis. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics. Solid understanding of industrial safety regulations and best practices. Preferred Skills Hands-on experience with CNC machine installation and maintenance. Familiarity with industrial robot programming and integration. Background in manufacturing engineering or related technical field. Experience sourcing and identifying specialized controls hardware and replacement components.
