Months Job Duties:
Assist in developing equipment specifications and confirming compliance with engineering standards. Perform Seibi equipment checks for safety, electrical, and mechanical design validation. Conduct equipment, conveyor, and logistics hardware confirmations for safety interlocks. Support vendor buy-off trials, equipment validation, and larger production zone trials. Perform equipment adjustments to achieve safety, quality, and productivity targets. Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings during equipment validation activities. Collaborate with engineering teams, vendors, and manufacturing personnel to resolve technical issues. Utilize Microsoft Office applications for documentation, reporting, and communication. Travel to manufacturing plants and vendor locations throughout the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Japan as needed.
Job Requirements:
Associate degree in a technical field is required 3+ years of relevant technical/Seibi Technician experience in manufacturing. Minimum 2 years of PLC programming experience (Toyopuc, Allen Bradley, Omron, or Siemens). Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings. Experience supporting manufacturing equipment installation, validation, and troubleshooting. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams. Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally. Self-motivated with strong teamwork and communication skills. Experience with manufacturing equipment procurement, installation, and confirmation preferred. 3+ years of experience with Kawasaki or Fanuc industrial robots or AMRs/AGV Traffic Control Systems. Experience with Keyence or other machine vision systems preferred. Experience with AMRs, AGVs, and AGV Traffic Control Systems preferred. Automotive manufacturing or Toyota Production Engineering experience preferred.

$45.00•$47.00 per hour
