Automation Maintenance Technician Job Description The Automation Maintenance Technician is responsible for the setup, maintenance, testing, adjustment, and support of manufacturing machinery and processes, including dies and molds. The role involves providing preventative maintenance on problematic manufacturing issues and process equipment, as well as troubleshooting a wide range of tooling and production equipment. Responsibilities Perform setup, maintenance, testing, and adjustment of manufacturing machinery and processes. Provide preventative maintenance and troubleshoot manufacturing issues and process equipment. Work with tight tolerances and ensure high precision within .0001". Read blueprints and utilize a variety of measuring devices such as Depth Mic, Step Mic, and Dial Indicators. Run a surface grinder and handle both electrical and mechanical tasks. Troubleshoot PLCs and engage in preventive maintenance. Essential Skills Ability to troubleshoot and read blueprints. Experience with tight tolerances and precision work. Experience with measuring devices and surface grinders. Experience in electrical wiring, PLC troubleshooting, and maintenance. Additional Skills & Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in a technical or manufacturing environment. 20/40 correctable vision. Experience as a maintenance or equipment technician. Familiarity with MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook). Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently. CPR/First Aid/AED training. High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred:
2-Year or 4-Year Electrical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering/Technical Degree. Tool & Die or Electrical Journeyman/Certification is a plus. Why Work Here?
