CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT TECHNICIAN
Flexaust, Inc. Flexaust is seeking a hands-on Continuous Improvement Technician to help improve manufacturing equipment and production processes. We are looking for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, technical curiosity, and a willingness to learn. This position offers opportunities to participate in equipment design, installation, process improvements, and automation projects.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Improve manufacturing equipment and production processes.
- Participate in the design and implementation of manufacturing equipment and process improvements using CAD software.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, PLC, and process-related issues.
- Build, assemble, install, and modify manufacturing equipment and machinery.
- Perform machining, welding, fabrication, and equipment integration as needed.
- Create drawings, layouts, and technical documentation.
- Support equipment installations, automation projects, and facility improvements.
- Travel as needed for projects, training, and supplier visits.
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with manufacturing equipment and production processes.
- CAD experience is a plus.
- Understanding of PLC programming concepts.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control drawings.
- Experience with equipment assembly, installation, machining, welding, or fabrication.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow.
