CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT TECHNICIAN
Flexaust, Inc. Flexaust is seeking a hands-on Continuous Improvement Technician to help improve manufacturing equipment and production processes. We are looking for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, technical curiosity, and a willingness to learn. This position offers opportunities to participate in equipment design, installation, process improvements, and automation projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Improve manufacturing equipment and production processes.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of manufacturing equipment and process improvements using CAD software.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, PLC, and process-related issues.
  • Build, assemble, install, and modify manufacturing equipment and machinery.
  • Perform machining, welding, fabrication, and equipment integration as needed.
  • Create drawings, layouts, and technical documentation.
  • Support equipment installations, automation projects, and facility improvements.
  • Travel as needed for projects, training, and supplier visits.
Requirements
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with manufacturing equipment and production processes.
  • CAD experience is a plus.
  • Understanding of PLC programming concepts.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control drawings.
  • Experience with equipment assembly, installation, machining, welding, or fabrication.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow.
