Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Technician to support the safe and reliable operation of Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) facilities in Idaho and Kansas. This is a hands-on field role responsible for troubleshooting, calibrating, maintaining, and repairing instrumentation, electrical, and control systems in an industrial plant environment. Responsibilities Troubleshoot, calibrate, maintain, and repair process instrumentation and control devices Work with pressure, temperature, flow, level, and analytical instrumentation Troubleshoot transmitters, control valves, actuators, switches, and control circuits Support PLC/HMI-controlled equipment and associated field devices Troubleshoot motors, motor starters, VFDs, electrical panels, power supplies, and related equipment Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on instrumentation and electrical systems Read and interpret P&IDs, loop drawings, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams Support equipment outages, commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting activities Follow all site safety procedures, including LOTO, permits, equipment isolations, and safe electrical work practices Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required 3+ years of hands-on industrial instrumentation and/or electrical maintenance experience preferred Experience troubleshooting industrial instrumentation and electrical equipment Experience with motors, VFDs, control circuits, electrical panels, and field instrumentation
