Associate Engineering Technician Location:

Job Summary:

We are seeking an Associate Engineering Technician to support civil engineering design work for large-scale renewable energy projects. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to site development deliverables, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and help produce accurate, high-quality technical documents and drawings.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and modify site plans, grading designs, and utility layouts using industry-standard design tools. Support the development of civil engineering deliverables for large-scale utility projects. Perform basic computations, including material quantity estimates and dimensional checks. Coordinate deliverables with other project groups and support document control, quality, and continuous improvement efforts.

Required:

Diploma or Certificate required; Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred. Minimum of 2 years of related work experience. Ability to work under close supervision and support engineering teams under general supervision. Experience using digital design tools and software such as CAD, BIM, and 3D modeling. Must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements, which may include a criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
