Clarificion from the agency Current members of the Kansas Air Nional Guard Duties Help As an Electronic Integred Systems Mechanic, WG-2610-13, you will perform duties such as install, modify, overhaul, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, align, calibre, and rebuild multi-system avionics complexes consisting of multiple completely integred electronic avionics systems where the complex accomplishes a number of major functions. Must demonstre the ability to perform on- or off-equipment maintenance on one or more complete electronic integred systems associed with the assigned aircraft and/or maintenance on automic flight control systems, instrument systems, inertial and radar navigion systems. Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule:

This position works on a 5/4/9 compressed work schedule th consists of a 5-day workweek, then a 4-day workweek (eight 9-hour days and one 8-hour day and an SDO, Scheduled Day Off) to complete the 80-hour pay period. Work schedule is subject to change based on mission requirements.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE

: Musthave the experience or training demonstring th you have the ability to repair, overhaul, rebuild, align, and adjust complete multi-systems such as the electronics package in a highly automed aircraft where target acquisition and tracking, weapons control, aircraft titude control, navigion, and other complex functions are performed by numerous systems which are extensively interconnected with da feedback loops. Applies comprehensive knowledge of all major units of the complete multisystem, i.e., how they function independently, how they are interfaced in the integred subsystems, and how the subsystems interact to achieve opering specificions. Able to determine proper sequence of operions and start point in sequential operions in order to pinpoint areas of malfunction. Extensive practical knowledge of the theories and practices of electromagnetic propagion, electronic circuits, computer theory, hydraulic or pneumic control and power systems, and many other areas covering a wide range of system applicions.
