Job Description

About the Role We are looking for a skilled Industrial Electrical Technician to ensure the peak performance of our automated production systems. You will serve as a key technical resource, utilizing your expertise in PLC troubleshooting and electrical diagnostics to minimize downtime and drive operational efficiency. Responsibilities Diagnose and resolve complex electrical faults in PLC-controlled machinery using software like Studio 5000 or TIA Portal. Interpret intricate electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control logic to perform precise system repairs. Execute preventative maintenance programs to enhance equipment reliability and extend the lifespan of industrial assets. Respond rapidly to emergency equipment breakdowns, ensuring production continuity through effective root-cause analysis. Utilize precision instruments, including multimeters, to identify and rectify issues within sensors, I/O modules, and field wiring. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system updates and support continuous improvement initiatives. Perform occasional mechanical repairs to ensure holistic equipment functionality. Required Skills 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in an industrial maintenance environment. Proficiency in troubleshooting Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLC systems. Strong understanding of industrial networking standards and electrical safety protocols. Demonstrated ability to read and apply technical documentation and schematics. Preferred Skills Associate degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering technology. Prior experience maintaining and optimizing high-speed automated production lines. Excellent communication skills with a focus on collaborative team problem-solving.
