Job Description

About the Role As an Industrial Automation Technician, you will serve as a critical technical resource, ensuring the seamless operation of complex manufacturing systems. You will leverage your expertise in PLC programming and electrical maintenance to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime in a high-output production environment. Responsibilities Execute advanced maintenance and installation of PLC and MCC systems to ensure peak operational efficiency. Monitor and calibrate automated machinery, including robotics and control systems, to maintain production targets. Interpret complex electrical schematics and blueprints to perform precise repairs and system upgrades. Manage high-voltage electrical systems, including 240V and 440V configurations, ensuring all conduit and motor installations meet safety standards. Configure and troubleshoot variable speed drives, electronic relays, and optical sensors to resolve process bottlenecks. Perform comprehensive diagnostics and preventative maintenance on industrial machinery, piping, and mechanical fixtures. Qualifications Required Skills Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation and maintenance. Demonstrated proficiency in Allen-Bradley PLC programming and hardware troubleshooting. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret ladder logic and technical documentation. Proven track record of maintaining high safety standards and operational accuracy in fast-paced facilities. High School diploma or equivalent. Preferred Skills Associate degree in Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance or Journeyman Electrician certification. Advanced training in Rockwell Automation control systems. Extensive experience working with complex conveyor and integrated manufacturing systems.
