JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the working condition of all terminal automated mailing equipment and the safety of its use.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Setup the use of tools and equipment prior to production for optimum safety levels. Basic troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair automated mailing equipment. Work with vendors and other internal groups to resolve maintenance issues. Train operations employees on proper use and basic maintenance of automation machines. Submit reports and participate in weekly Tech calls. Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Minimum one year of experience in a similar role in manufacturing or automated distribution facility. Basic Mechanical (including Hydraulics and Pneumatics), Electrical, and Computer Skills. Basic understanding of industrial machines operating principles. Experience/Ability to work with

CMMS. REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS

Safety oriented mindset Ability to learn and maintain proficiency for MS Office Word, Excel, and Skype Ability to communicate via verbal or written methods with operators, supervisors, engineering. Detail oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills. Flexible with scheduling based on business need. Positive and team-oriented attitude.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Walk, bend, push, reach and lift up to 50 lbs. (additional weight may be required with assistance) Ability to sit and stand for hours at a time. Noise level generated from other distribution activity can be somewhat loud at times, but no damaging levels or protective equipment required. Temperature in the distribution center can vary greatly from warm to cool. Ability to climb and descend stairs, ladders and scaffolds and work at various stages of heights throughout the building.
