North American Operations Position Purpose:
Provide all disciplines including controls & automation industrial maintenance support and analysis to assist Leadec in maintaining & improving the capability of machinery and equipment to achieve customer objectives.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates the values and business principles of Leadec.
- Works safely at all times.
- Install, maintain, and repair all systems and equipment in industrial settings.
- Perform preventative maintenance on all systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Troubleshoot problems and diagnosed issues with all systems and equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and diagrams to install and maintain all systems and equipment.
- Install and maintain automation & control systems for industrial machinery and equipment. This will include Robotic too. Must be able to do touch up points and small program movements
- Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and regulations.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as engineers, mechanics, and technicians, to complete projects and repairs.
- Provide training and guidance to apprentices and other junior maintenance technicians.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and maintain inventory of required equipment and supplies.
- Adhering to and supporting all EHS and Quality objectives, in accordance with ISO 14001, 45001 and 9001 respectively.
- All other duties as assigned by Leadec manager.

- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to industrial maintenance work.

- Physical ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
- Experience working in industrial settings such as factories, plants, or warehouses.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Willingness to keep up with industry developments and advancements.
- Skilled in Root Cause based maintenance practices.
- Exceptional planning, communication, and Leadership skills.
Position Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent training and experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Industrial Maintenance related duties.
- Knowledge of PLC programming and control systems is a plus.
- 2+ years of Robotic work experience.
- Mechatronics experience or training is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the key actions of the job:- Required to talk and/or hear in an industrial setting (noise level is moderate). Frequently required to stand and walk on concrete surfaces for 4 -12 hours. Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; lift; stoop, or crouch.
- Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and focus adjustment.
- Work is performed in an industrial-manufacturing environment with occasional time spent working on a computer or at a desk.
