Hiring Agency General Government Cabinet | Department of Military Affairs Location 1101 Grade Lane Standiford Field Louisville, KY 40213 USA Description The Facilities Division is hiring a Mechanical Maintenance & Operations Technician II (MMOT II) that: Performs technical duties in the maintenance and operation of mechanical systems, such as HVAC, refrigeration, ventilation, electrical systems, and associated equipment. Performs inspections to determine maintenance needs and procedures for documentation, repair, or remediation. Job duties include but are not limited to the following: Supervises, assigns and performs work in the maintenance and operations of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical and refrigeration equipment. Installs, repairs, maintains heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration equipment and electrical systems. Inspects and maintains the working performance of equipment in accordance with applicable codes and manufacturers specifications. Consults with engineering personnel and contractors concerning installation and repair of mechanical equipment. Maintains records and inventory of parts and equipment for maintenance operations. Recommends changes in operations and maintenance procedures. Assists in snow removal at KY Air National Guard base as required. Minimum Requirements

EDUCATION

High school graduate.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS

Four years of experience in the maintenance or repair of HVAC, refrigeration, ventilation, or electrical systems. Substitute

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

(AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): Must be 18 years of age. Working Conditions May be required to take care of emergency repairs twenty-four hours a day.
