Lead Fiber Splicer/Splicing Supervisor

Overview Full-Time | Competitive Pay (DOE) | Benefits Included We are seeking an experienced Fiber Splicer with strong leadership skills to support and oversee fiber splicing operations in the Paducah, KY area. This role is ideal for someone who can lead and mentor other splicers while remaining hands-on and ready to step in and perform splicing work as needed. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in Fiber to the Home (FTTH) and Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON) environments, along with the ability to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

What You'll Do:

Perform fiber splicing, testing, and troubleshooting in both aerial and underground environments Lead, supervise, and support a team of fiber splicers in the field Step in as needed to complete splicing work and maintain project timelines Interpret and work from fiber optic schematics, splice logs, and construction prints Ensure proper fiber handling, routing, and documentation Maintain quality control and ensure all work meets industry and company standards Promote and enforce safety procedures on all job sites

What We're Looking For:

Extensive experience as a Fiber Splicer (required) Proven leadership or supervisory experience in fiber operations Strong background in FTTH and GPON networks Ability to read and interpret fiber plans, splice diagrams, and test results Experience with OTDR testing and fiber troubleshooting Strong communication and team leadership skills Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Why Join Us? Pay:

$18.00 - $24.00 per hour
