In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately calibrating Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) to ensure optimal vehicle safety and performance. Duties Perform precise calibration of ADAS components using specialized automotive diagnostic tools and schematics. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to diagnose system issues accurately. Utilize automotive electrical systems knowledge to troubleshoot and repair vehicle systems related to ADAS, powertrain, suspension, and transmissions. Conduct vehicle maintenance, including wheel alignments, suspension system repairs, and transmission system repairs, ensuring all systems meet manufacturer specifications. Use hand tools and power tools effectively for calibration, repair, and maintenance tasks on various vehicle systems. Collaborate with service technicians to diagnose complex mechanical or electrical issues affecting ADAS performance. Document calibration procedures thoroughly and ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines. Requirements Dealership experience or extensive service technician background in automotive repair is highly preferred. Strong understanding of automotive diagnostics, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Proven experience with ADAS calibration procedures and automotive electrical systems. Mechanical knowledge across vehicle maintenance, suspension system repair, powertrain, transmissions, and diesel engine repair. Proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools, alignment equipment, welding equipment, and power tools. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Hands-on experience with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus but not required. Valid mechanic certification or equivalent technical training in automotive repair. Ability to interpret complex automotive wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently.
