Welding Machine Repair Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Welding Machine Repair Technician to join our repair team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of welding equipment and machinery to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Your expertise will help keep production running smoothly by diagnosing issues promptly and implementing effective solutions. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on welding machines, welding equipment, hydraulic systems, and electrical components. Troubleshoot complex issues using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills to identify root causes of equipment failures. Utilize precision measuring instruments and other diagnostic tools to assess electrical and mechanical systems. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities to track work orders and equipment history. Conduct field service repairs on-site at the manufacturing facility or customer locations as needed, ensuring minimal downtime. Collaborate with industrial electricians and mechanics to resolve high voltage or low voltage electrical issues efficiently. Support safety protocols by adhering to industry standards for high voltage, electrical safety, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Qualifications Proven experience in industrial maintenance or as an industrial mechanic within a manufacturing facility environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing welding machines, hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, and industrial electrical components. Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and control systems. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately. Ability to track and report maintenance timing, parts used, and/or provide quotation for non-repairable tools. Knowledge of other industrial equipment, such as hydraulic tools, lifting systems, welding tools, and/or electrical equipment is a plus. Excellent analysis skills combined with customer service orientation for effective field service support. Strong communication skills in English to coordinate with team members and clients effectively.
