Job Description
Setra Systems is seeking a motivated Calibration Technician to join our team. This is a entry-level calibration technician position. The person in this position will be a key player within our quality and operations team as they will be primarily responsible for calibrations of the transfer standards, test stands, and tools used across the factory.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Calibrate transfer standards (pressure references), hand tools, capacitance meters, etc used across the factory.
- Assist with 3rd party calibration efforts such as the Essco on-site calibrations and the Fluke/DHI calibration of our primary pressure controllers
- Review calibration results and maintain cal records.
- Provide feedback on transfer standard performance to quality leads via verbal and database updates
- Perform GENTTS test stand calibrations and other "in-cell" calibrations as required
- Assist Quality Engineering in retrieving cal records and procedures when necessary to support customer and audit requests
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- This position requires a candidate with high energy who is self-driven and has excellent communication skills.
- Ability to independently schedule and prioritize workload.
- Is not afraid to deal with conflict.
- High School diploma or GED required. Advanced education preferred.
- Solid Microsoft Office and PC skills.
- Technical skills include basic calibration skills and knowledge
- Ability to communicate and drive actions across a diverse work place.
- Have technical understanding of Setra products and the tools used in the manufacturing of Setra products.
- Must have a high sense of urgency for customer needs.
