The project lasts for 3 months and may evolve to become a full-time role. Responsibilities Assembling/Packaging of optical components. Conduct quality control efforts including QC design, testing, and reporting. Operation of mechanical , electrical, and optical tools for measurement and alignment of photonics components. Assembling of SiPhox Health reader, including soldering of electronic components. Inventory management of photonics and electrical components. Perform operational tests on reader. Strong manual dexterity and fine motor control required for handling, picking, placing, and aligning small optical, photonic, and electronic components with high accuracy, often under microscope or magnification. Basic Qualifications 1-2 years experience in a related field is required. Ability to reliably produce products according to written specifications. Identify and segregate Non-Conforming Product. Manual dexterity, eye-hand coordination, and visual acuity. Ability to perform repetitive work while paying attention to detail. Maintain product traceability and identification. Able to communicate and work closely with other people. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. Detail oriented.
Electronic Skills:
Has training in dealing with soldering, power meters, and electrical components.
Computer Skills:
Is familiar with Microsoft Office products. Ability to read, write and understand English. Preferred Qualifications Candidate has optical coupling and fiber-attaching training. Candidate has electronic soldering training. Experience handling precision equipment. Scripting in Python. Bachelor's or Associate's Degree. Pay:
