Polishing Technician - Contract To Hire A precision manufacturer in Hudson, MA is seeking a dependable, detail-driven Polishing Technician to join its production team. In this hands-on role, you'll operate machines, prepare job travelers, and take precise measurements on small and delicate parts — all while keeping quality and safety front and center. You'll train on 1st shift before moving to the split shift, giving you time to build confidence in the work. Pay Rate of the
Polishing Technician:
$23.00 per hour, plus a 10% shift differential when working the split shift. Schedule of the
Polishing Technician:
Monday through Friday, 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM. Training on 1st shift. Responsibilities of the
Polishing Technician:
Fill diamond paste tubes according to process. Cut card stock and prepare job travelers. Read travelers and complete tasks as listed. Take table measurements and measure the thickness of parts using micrometers and microscopes. Maintain a clean work area and keep equipment in orderly condition. Follow all prescribed safety regulations. Qualifications of the
Polishing Technician:
High school diploma or equivalent (required). Machine operation or small piece assembly experience. Previous machine operation experience in a production or manufacturing environment (preferred). Excellent hand-eye coordination and finger dexterity (required). Demonstrated experience handling small and fragile parts. A continuous improvement attitude and strong attention to detail.
