DESCRIPTION
Join our team as a Depot Repair Technician II, where you'll contribute to enabling our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. Working in a depot repair environment, you'll provide maintenance, repair, and calibration services for scientific instruments including Gas Analyzers and Industrial Hygiene Monitors. This position offers opportunities for career growth while working with a team of professionals dedicated to delivering service solutions. You'll diagnose and repair sophisticated environmental and process monitoring equipment, maintain detailed documentation in our CRM and ERP systems, and ensure compliance with ISO standards. Daily activities include working with customers on service matters, managing service orders, performing calibrations, and maintaining precise records of all repairs and test results. You'll work with teams including Service, Engineering, Technical Support, and Materials Management to deliver excellent customer service and maintain our quality standards.REQUIREMENTS
- 1 year of experience in electronics repair or related technical field
Preferred Fields of Study:
Chemistry- Strong electronics and troubleshooting background
- Proficiency in diagnostic testing and repair of electronic instruments
- Experience with ESD protocols and 5S practices
- Ability to work with small parts under microscope using precision tools
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and CRM systems (particularly Salesforce)
- Strong documentation skills for maintaining ISO-compliant repair records
- Experience with component soldering
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals
- Knowledge of
ISO 9000
requirements and quality control procedures- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Ability to maintain productivity while meeting repair targets
- Physical ability to handle equipment and wear required PPE Compensation and Benefits The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $16.
