AXG is partnering with an established independent power producer to recruit an Instrumentation, Controls & Electrical Technician for its plant maintenance team.

This opportunity will suit a hands-on technician who enjoys troubleshooting, takes pride in reliable equipment, and brings strong controls capability alongside instrumentation and electrical experience.

Your work will include:

Troubleshooting DCS/PLC systems and field equipment.

Calibrating instruments, transmitters, and control valves.

Maintaining electrical equipment and supporting plant repairs.

Completing preventive maintenance, work orders, and technical records.

Supporting planned outages and emergency maintenance.

We're looking for

At least four years of relevant experience in power generation, utilities, or marine propulsion.

Strong practical controls troubleshooting.

Working instrumentation and electrical knowledge.

A disciplined approach to safety and a collaborative, proactive mindset.

A high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license.

GE Mark V, Mark VIe, or Emerson Ovation experience.

Candidates with transferable PLC or other DCS experience are also encouraged to connect.
