What to expect Responsible for keeping properties in top-notch physical condition, inside and out in all kinds of weather. Provides support to the Facility Manager/Operations Supervisor and provides oversight to techs as needed. Works independently and interacts on a daily basis with team members, Work Control Center Staff and other Integrated Operations staff. Supports the policies and objectives of the Sheppard Pratt. The position may be called upon to change shifts from time to time and carry an emergency phone when on-call for maintenance. Sheppard Pratt provides the tools and equipment necessary to fulfill the requirements of this role. A company vehicle will be provided for travel to work locations. What we need from you High school diploma/GED or by a brief (six month or less) period of intensive vocational/trades training outside of school. Work requires 8 +years of varied mechanical and carpentry/repair/construction experience - sufficient to demonstrate knowledge of various plant equipment and its repair, installation, and preventive maintenance, ability to visually and conceptually recognize causes and resolutions of malfunction in mechanical equipment, and the capability to perform work as scheduled and account daily for time and materials used. Must possess a current, valid Driver's license with a driving record that has 3 or fewer points on it at the time of hire. Must be able to operate a manual transmission vehicle. The pay range for this position is $23.38/hr minimum to $36.10/hr maximum. Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, years and level of related experience. #LI-SM1
