Conowingo, MD Pay Rate:
$50.00-$55.00/hour
Schedule:
40 hours per week Looking for your next power plant project? Join a team of skilled Instrumentation & Controls professionals supporting a power generation facility. This opportunity offers competitive pay, per diem, travel assistance, and hands-on work with critical plant instrumentation and control systems. Job Duties Perform instrumentation inspections, testing, calibration, and adjustments Troubleshoot and maintain plant instrumentation and control devices Install, calibrate, and repair pressure, temperature, flow, and process instruments Test alarms and verify proper operation of control systems Inspect gauges, transmitters, switches, and field instrumentation Read and interpret P&IDs, loop drawings, schematics, and technical documentation Document calibration results, maintenance activities, and repairs Support corrective maintenance and plant reliability initiatives Follow all site safety procedures while working in an active power plant environment Requirements Previous power plant instrumentation experience required Experience in Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) or industrial instrumentation Strong skills in calibration, troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance Ability to work with pressure, temperature, flow, and process control systems Ability to read P&IDs, schematics, and instrumentation drawings Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills Ability to work independently and as part of a project team Commitment to safety, quality, and project success Benefits Medical, dental, vision, and pet insurance 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Commuter/Parking Accounts People Perks Program Health Savings Account (HSA) AD&D Insurance Per diem provided Travel assistance available If you're an experienced Instrumentation Technician ready to put your power plant and I&C expertise to work on a rewarding project, this is the opportunity for you.
