job summary: Seeking a skilled Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to join our clients team in Frederick, Maryland. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting complex PLC and HMI systems, performing electrical maintenance on power distribution systems up to 480V, and collaborating with engineering teams to optimize manufacturing performance. FREDERICK, Maryland job type: Permanent salary: $100,000 - 115,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: High School responsibilities: Work a 12hr rotating schedule - day and night shiftMaintain a zero-incident safety culture by following all facility safety and environmental regulationsProvide electrical and controls support for roofing manufacturing lines and auxilary equipmentTroubleshoot and repair faults in PLCs, HMIs, and automated systemsModify existing programs to improve machine sequencing and alarm responsesPerform electrical maintenance and wiring on AC and DC power distribution systems up to 480VAchieve and maintain facility-level electrician certification Install software updates and perform equipment calibrations and machine setupsPartner with engineering and operations teams to resolve technical issues Update and redline system drawings, schematics, and layoutsAnalyze operational data to diagnose and fix performance problemsManage critical environmental and process control systemsComplete both scheduled maintenance tasks and emergency repairs during production downtime Operate powered industrial vehicles like forklifts and man-liftsDocument work and manage tasks within a computerized maintenance management systemParticipate in an on-call rotation as needed to support 24/7 operations qualifications: Experience level: Entry LevelMinimum 3 years of experience
