+ BonusTravel TerritoryThis position primarily supports clients throughout the Baltimore-Washington DC Metro Area, with occasional travel throughout Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey.
Are you an experienced Instrumentation, Metrology, or Calibration Technician looking for an opportunity to support cutting-edge biopharmaceutical and life sciences facilities? We're seeking an Instrument Field Service Technician to provide calibration, maintenance, and technical support for critical manufacturing, laboratory, and utility systems throughout the Baltimore-Washington region.

What You'll DoPerform calibration and service work in accordance with company and client proceduresMaintain calibration standards and ensure equipment remains in optimal working conditionCreate, update, and execute calibration proceduresDevelop and manage monthly calibration schedulesCoordinate planned maintenance and calibration activities with equipment ownersComplete calibration documentation, certificates, and compliance recordsProvide technical support for instrumentation and calibration processesAssist with equipment and facility qualification activitiesRecommend instrumentation and controls upgrades and best practicesSupport a variety of critical systems including:
AutoclavesIncubatorsRefrigerators & FreezersBioreactors & FermentersAHUsBMS/BAS SystemsCIP/SIP Systems

SystemsUtility SystemsWhat We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDMinimum 2 years of experience as a Calibration Technician, Instrument Technician, Metrology Technician, or related technical field roleHands-on experience calibrating industrial instrumentation and process equipmentStrong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently in client facilitiesPreferred QualificationsAssociate degree, trade school certification, or technical trainingExperience supporting biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or GMP-regulated environmentsKnowledge of instrumentation used in manufacturing, laboratory, and utility systemsExperience with calibration scheduling and documentation systemsTechnical Experience with Measurements IncludingTemperaturePressureLevelVolumetric FlowMass FlowUltrasonic FlowAnalytical InstrumentsLocal ControllersLEL Detection SystemsCompensation$50.00 per hourEligible for overtime payAnnual Profit-Sharing BonusBenefitsMedical, Dental & Vision InsuranceCompany-Paid Life InsuranceCompany-Paid Long-Term DisabilityShort-Term Disability Options
