Job Description

Company Description Huffmaster Racing Auto & Speed Shop is a growing automotive facility built from a passion for racing, performance, and high-quality craftsmanship. Originally founded as a race team in 1999, the business expanded into a full-service speed shop featuring an in-house dyno, aftermarket performance upgrades, custom fabrication, and performance tuning. As demand has continued to grow, the company has expanded into full-service street car maintenance and repair. Role Description We are currently seeking an experienced ASE Certified Automotive Technician to join our team in Davisburg, MI. This position will focus exclusively on street car service, repair, maintenance, and diagnostics. The ideal candidate is a dependable, experienced technician who can work independently with limited oversight while maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism. Qualifications
  • ASE-certified technician. Candidates with certifications in diagnostics, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, and engine repair & performance are highly encouraged to apply.
  • 5 years of automotive technician experience
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must own professional automotive tools
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail Preferred / Nice to
Have:
  • ASE Master Technician
  • Experience with Tekmetric shop management software
  • Performance automotive knowledge or enthusiast background
  • Experience with aftermarket upgrades and bolt-on performance parts
  • Welding or fabrication experience
  • State of Michigan certifications Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair domestic and import street vehicles
  • Perform routine maintenance and mechanical repairs
  • Complete brake, suspension, steering, cooling system, drivetrain, and engine repair work
  • Perform diagnostics using modern scan tools and troubleshooting equipment
  • Accurately document inspections, recommendations, and completed repairs
  • Maintain productivity and efficiency while delivering high-quality workmanship
  • Communicate effectively with shop management and service staff
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Compensation

Pay:
$35.00 - $45.00 per hour
