Job Description

Position Available:
Automation Support Technician Schedule:
Full Time, Monday through Friday, must have 1st and 2nd shift availability.
Wage:
Starting at $25.00/hour
Location:
Based out of our Corporate Office in Flint, MI, but will be traveling to various locations throughout the United States.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automation Support Technician to join our team. This role involves servicing, implementing, and troubleshooting our advanced autonomous robotic floor scrubbers and vacuums. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a passion for innovative cleaning technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation and Implementation:
Set up and configure robotic floor scrubbers and vacuums at various client locations. Customize cleaning plans and path planning modes to meet specific facility requirements.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on robotic floor scrubbers and vacuums. Diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime. Utilize remote access tools and mobile apps for monitoring and troubleshooting.
Customer Support:
Provide training and support to clients on the operation and maintenance of the robotic floor scrubbers and vacuums. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Technical Documentation:
Maintain detailed records of service activities, including maintenance logs and troubleshooting guides. Update technical documentation as needed.
Innovation and Improvement:
Stay updated on the latest advancements in robotic cleaning technology and products.
Qualifications:
Education:
Associate degree preferred.
Experience:
Proven experience in servicing and maintaining robotic or automated equipment. Familiarity with AI-powered systems and autonomous navigation technologies.
Skills:
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. Proficiency with remote monitoring and control software.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
