This is a contract role through Magnit for Consumers Energy. This role is a onsite in Jackson, MI and will require some travel in the lower peninsula.
Details :
The expectation for this role is 5 days a week onsite. Monday-Friday 8 hours a days. Some overtime will be required. Travel in the lower peninsula of Michigan is required. Maintenance & Reliability Maintenance work orders — Plan, perform, and document preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Testing & inspections — Complete verification, SOX witness inspections, and compliance tasks. Commissioning support — Support checkout and startup of new or modified systems. Construction assistance — Assist with project implementation and system integration. Documentation upkeep — Maintain accurate records, system documentation, and maintenance logs. Troubleshooting & Repair System diagnostics — Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, instrumentation, mechanical, and process control systems. Instrumentation repair — Repair, calibrate, and configure instrumentation and electronic devices. Control software troubleshooting — Diagnose communication issues and process control software faults. Industrial safety — Demonstrated safe work practices in industrial environments. Technical interpretation — Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and schematics. Technical degree in Electrical Technology, Instrumentation, Controls, Electronics, or related field (preferred). Vocational training in electrical, instrumentation, or industrial controls. Industry certifications such as electrical licensing, instrumentation certification, or controls training (preferred). Safety training including
OSHA, PPE
use, and industrial hazard awareness. Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation) The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $40 - $57/hr
