Job Description

Last Mile FTTH Installer needed ​
Compensation:
$2,500 - $3,500+ per week (Production/Piece Rate based on volume)
Job Type:
Independent Contractor (1099) / Subcontractor ​We are currently looking for experienced, reliable fiber optic technicians and splice crews for last-mile FTTH drop installations and splicing work across the Great Lakes Bay Region (Saginaw, Bay City, Midland, and surrounding areas). ​
Requirements:
Proven Experience:
Hands-on experience with aerial/underground fiber drop installations, pulling, and last-mile connectivity. ​
Fusion Splicing:
Proficiency in operating fusion splicers, optical power meters, and OTDR testing equipment to terminate fiber accurately.
Tools & Equipment:
Must own standard telecom hand tools, ladders, drop installation gear, and a fusion splicing kit. ​
Vehicle:
Must have a reliable work van or pickup truck (truck cap/rack setup preferred) capable of carrying gear and ladders to job sites. ​
Driver's License:
Valid driver's license with a clean record and reliable transportation. ​

Pay:
$2,000.00 - $3,700.00 per week
