Onsite Benefits Medical benefits beginning on Day 1 Paid Time Off Paid holidays Position Summary Reliance One is seeking a hands-on Electronics Technician to support a newly created engineering team developing a production propulsion controller. The approximately 10-person team includes engineers and designers responsible for developing every circuit within the controller and its circuit board. This position is ideal for an experienced technician who can work independently, build wire harnesses and test equipment, solder small electrical components, and use standard electronics laboratory equipment. Key Responsibilities Design and build wire harnesses Build test boxes and breakout boards Solder small electrical components, including 0805 and 0402 components Perform hot-air reflow work, including integrated circuit replacement Assist engineers with root-cause analysis of failed electrical components Use power supplies, oscilloscopes, load boxes, flash tools, and other bench equipment Assemble and disassemble controllers using hand tools Perform PCB checkout and visual inspections Follow schematic markups Manage multiple controllers and clearly document the status of each Work independently while collaborating with engineers and designers Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Eight to 10 years of relevant technical experience Three to five years of electronics experience Experience designing and building wire harnesses, test boxes, or breakout boards Ability to solder small electronic components Experience with hot-air reflow and component replacement Familiarity with electronics bench-lab equipment Strong mechanical assembly skills Ability to multitask, maintain accurate documentation, and work independently Preferred Qualifications Associate degree in electronics, electrical technology, engineering technology, or a related field Experience following schematic markups Experience performing PCB checkout and visual inspections Automotive electronics, electronic controller, or propulsion-system experience Experience supporting engineers with electrical failure analysis Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Reliance One, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
