RENK America is driven by this sense of pride and purpose in our country and our community. Description The Tool and Fixture Checker is a U.A.W. representated position at our facility in Muskegon. This position will be responsible for inspecting, measuring, verifying accuracy, functionaility, safety of tools, gauges and fixtures. Check variable gauges to print and standards Inspection and calibration of miscellaneous gages as specified Calibration and Inspection of gages primarily performed to procedures contained in Calibration manual. Input of calibration data into computer database. Position Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Must be able to obtain tool layout inspector A.A. Journeyman card. Journeyman status as Tool Layout Inspector, A.A Ability to apply GD&T features, read B/P's and perform gage calibration activities. Computer skills to work with the gage calibration software. Advanced math skills. Able to work in a Team environment. Must be able to read orders and work instructions Must be able to read and understand processes and process drawings Must have mechanical skills Must be able to lift up to and including 50 lbs. and must be able to bend and lift Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance Other duties as assigned Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt EOE Statement RENK America is proud to be an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
