A Photonics Technician is responsible for assembling, dismantling, installing, calibrating, testing, operating and repairing lasers. They also may perform alignment procedures, clean optics, integrate lasers with opto-mechanics parts, work on laser documentation and troubleshoot.

Job Description

  • Min of 5 years' experience with NTC 5-Axis Laser Equipment
  • Experience needs to be recent as well as candidates' main responsibility
  • Ability to program at the machine
  • Ability to maintain CNC programs
  • Ability to lift 30lbs without assistance
  • Ability to follow written and verbal directions
  • Must be available to work overtime and weekends when needed
  • 1st Shift Mon thru
Fri:
6:00am to 4:30pm (10-hour shift) or 6:00am to 2:30pm (8-hour shift), Sat 6:00am to 12:00pm (when needed)
  • 2nd Shift Mon thru
Fri:
4:30 pm to 3:00 am (10-hour shift) or 4:30 pm to 1:00 am (8-hour shift), Sat 2:00 pm to 8:00pm (as needed) 5 Axis Laser Operator
