Position Summary MARTIN Technologies is seeking an experienced Automotive Diagnostic & Repair Specialist to diagnose, repair, inspect, and test classic, modern, and performance vehicles. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical skills and can identify the root cause of vehicle problems, complete repairs correctly, and verify the results through testing and road evaluation. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair engine and drivability problems. Repair brakes, suspension, steering, exhaust, and cooling systems. Diagnose batteries, starters, charging systems, wiring, and other electrical concerns. Use scan tools, multimeters, and automotive diagnostic equipment. Read wiring diagrams, repair procedures, and technical instructions. Perform complete vehicle and safety inspections. Remove and install engines or major components when required. Prepare accurate parts and labor estimates. Road-test vehicles before and after repairs. Confirm that completed repairs meet safety and quality standards. Document diagnostic findings and completed work. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Communicate repair updates clearly with managers and team members. Qualifications Three or more years of professional automotive repair experience preferred. Strong engine, brake, suspension, steering, and electrical skills. Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical problems. Experience using scan tools and diagnostic equipment. Ability to read wiring diagrams and service procedures. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Ability to safely operate and road-test vehicles. Personal hand tools appropriate for the position. Preferred Experience ASE or OEM certifications Advanced drivability and electrical diagnostics Classic or historical vehicles Modern or performance vehicles Engine removal and installation Vehicle restoration or modification Hybrid, EV, or ADAS systems Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work under vehicles. Ability to lift and carry automotive parts and equipment. Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, vehicle lifts, and shop equipment.
