We specialize in the design and integration of emerging automotive safety technology, with our goal being zero deaths a year due to traffic accidents. The only way to reach our goal is to help automotive suppliers leverage and extend their technology into existing vehicles, and at the same time, provide consumers with greater freedom of choice in choosing the features and content for their vehicles. Description BrandMotion is seeking a hands-on Mobile Electronics Field Technician to support our growing line of vehicle safety and ADAS systems. This is not a standard installer position. You'll work with a range of technologies including: Camera systems (rear, interior, 360°) Electronic rearview mirrors Radar-based safety systems (blind spot, detection, etc.) CAN-based vehicle integrations This role combines: Installation of mobile electronics Troubleshooting Customer support On-site product validation You'll act as a technical representative of Brandmotion, supporting customers both remotely and in the field, while working closely with our internal team. Travel Requirements Up to 50% travel as needed (not constant) Mix of in-house work, remote support, and field visits Occasional short-notice travel for troubleshooting Travel expenses covered with company credit card Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and troubleshoot 12V automotive electronics, including cameras and safety systems Diagnose wiring, electrical, and system-level issues Provide technical support via phone/email when not traveling Document findings and communicate clearly with internal teams Assist product development team in improving product reliability, installation processes and creating and modifying installation instructions
