Responsibilities include show operation, equipment inspections, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and assisting with scenery, props, and general theater technical operations. Requirements Key Requirements Associate degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience. Minimum 1 year of relevant technical or theater experience. Knowledge of automated rigging systems, stage operations, and theater practices. Basic PC hardware/software troubleshooting skills. Ability to work safely at heights and operate ladders and aerial work platforms. Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and communication skills. Fluent English communication skills. Key Responsibilities Operate automated stage rigging systems for theater productions, rehearsals, presentations, and special events. Conduct pre-show inspections, system testing, and safety checks. Execute automation cues safely during performances. Monitor, troubleshoot, and report equipment issues. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of rigging equipment, stage machinery, and related systems. Assist with scenery, props, stage repairs, and theater maintenance. Support rehearsals, cast changes, and special events. Participate in the Tech On Duty rotation, providing audio, video, and lighting support throughout the ship. Maintain compliance with safety procedures, company policies, and training requirements. Train incoming technicians during handovers. Reporting Structure Reports directly to the Entertainment Technical Manager and works in accordance with shipboard management and Entertainment Technical leadership.
