Electronic Component Repair Technician Troy, MI Company manufactures electronic circuit boards and other electronic components
Job Duties:
Inspect printed circuit boards and electronic assemblies for defects Repair circuit boards by using soldering irons, hot air removal tools, desolder tools Document inspections and repairs using computer software Required experience:
  • Previous experience inspecting and repairing surface mount (SMT) and plating through hole (PTH) printed circuit boards and assemblies
  • Previous experience using rework soldering equipment including soldering irons, hot air removal tools and desolder tools
  • Knowledge of surface mount component types
  • Familiarity of
IPC-A-610
workmanship standards
  • Experience with simple computer-based operations using keyboard and mouse
  • Attention to detail is critical
  • Able to read, understand and write in English language
  • Able to perform basic math calculations
  • Able to perform repetitive tasks over an 8-10hr workday and to sit or stand for extended periods of time Desired experience:
IPC-A-610 CIS
certified
    IPC-711/7721 CIS
    certified
    • Able to read a schematic to complete basic electronics assembly troubleshooting
    • Able to perform complex assembly operations using printed work instructions
    • Ableto perform interactive test and assembly operations involving PC based tools
    Work Hours:
    Monday
    • Thursday (4-day work week): 5:00AM
    • 3:30PM Overtime available sometimes
    Pay:
    $18.00
    • $28.
