Tasks include performing electrical, instrumentation and/or automation maintenance repairs including electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, PLC troubleshooting, and pneumatic troubleshooting and repair of all site equipment. Willingness and availability to work Monday-Friday rotating 10 hour dayshifts and Overtime hours when necessary. Our I&E Technicians are responsible for the repair and maintenance of all Instrument equipment on site within the ED group, including:

Flow and SIS Instruments Temperature and Pressure Instruments & Transmitters Valve Actuators/Positioners MCC Equipment Profibus General Responsibilities:

Work with maintenance supervision, other technicians, engineers, and production personnel to design plant equipment and modifications Improve equipment reliability by maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting, and utilizing all resources available. Findings reported to supervision with appropriate recommendations. Ability to provide guidance on parts and time needed to perform various instrumentation and electrical repairs for job planning and scheduling. Utilizing various instrument calibration equipment (pressure, temperature, flow, etc.) Actively participating in plant safety meetings. Works within BASF site and corporate procedures. Demonstrates a team-oriented demeanor and maintain good attendance history Call-in support for after-hours production demands to include working overtime and weekends when needed.
