Systems Engineering Technician

• MTS Systems Corporation is looking for a hands-on
• Systems Engineering Technician
• to support the assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and checkout of complex mechanical and hydro-mechanical test systems. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys building, problem-solving, working from engineering documentation, and partnering closely with engineering and manufacturing teams.
• In this role, you will:
• + Assemble and configure mechanical systems using engineering drawings, work instructions, BOMs, and manufacturing documentation + Perform system hook-up, tear down, rework, repair, checkout, and customer acceptance testing + Support operational testing to ensure systems meet MTS quality and performance standards + Troubleshoot system issues and partner with engineering to resolve performance or operational concerns + Maintain accurate documentation and communicate needed drawing, BOM, or process corrections + Support continuous improvement by looking for ways to improve quality, efficiency, and cost •What we're looking for:•+ Mechanical assembly aptitude and hands-on technical ability + Ability to read and interpret engineering prints, work instructions, and test protocols + Experience in product assembly, R D testing, hydraulic systems, hydro-mechanical systems, or similar environments preferred + Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills + Comfortable using Microsoft Office and basic digital documentation tools + Ability to work collaboratively with engineering, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams •Why MTS?

• Compensation Information:

• The compensation for this position ranges from $29-$39 dollars an hour based on relevant education and experience.
