Job Description
Required Education/Experience:
- Associate's degree in an electrical or engineering field
Required Qualifications:
- Assemble, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electronic components, circuit boards, and systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and engineering documentation.
- Perform hardware testing using oscilloscopes, power supplies, AC/DC loads and sources, signal generators, data acquisition systems, and other laboratory equipment.
- Conduct thermal and environmental testing, including operation of environmental chambers.
- Support EMI/EMC testing and apply applicable test methods and best practices.
- Prepare prototypes and test samples by installing probes, building wire harnesses, and developing test fixtures.
- Perform soldering and rework, including fine-pitch electronic components, following quality standards.
- Verify equipment calibration status and execute testing per approved procedures and work instructions.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret test data; prepare technical reports and recommendations.
- Maintain test records, equipment logs, and laboratory documentation.
- Collaborate with engineers to support product development, validation testing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
Required Technical Skills:
- Surface-mount rework capabilities
- Ability to read schematics
- Proficiency with lab equipment, including scopes and power sources
