11 (Wi-Fi) Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking experienced and self-motivated Fiber Optic Installation Subcontractors to handle residential fiber installs. This is a 1099 contractor role ideal for individuals or crews who take ownership of their work, operate efficiently, and deliver high-quality installations. ⸻

Scope of Work:

• Complete residential fiber installations from tap to home
• Run aerial and/or underground drop lines
• Perform fiber splicing, termination, and testing
• Install and configure ONTs, routers, and Wi-Fi systems
• Ensure proper signal levels and system performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve service issues when necessary
• Maintain clean, professional installations inside and outside the home
• Educate customers on equipment and service basics ⸻

Contractor Requirements:

• Must operate as an independent contractor (1099)
• Valid driver's license and work vehicle w/ proof of insurance
• Own tools, ladders, and standard installation equipment
• Ability to supply your own materials (if required) or manage inventory provided
• General liability insurance (required)
• Previous fiber installation experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
• Strong customer service and communication skills ⸻

Preferred Experience:

• Fiber splicing and OTDR testing
• Experience with FTTH
• Aerial and underground drop experience
• Crew capability (for higher volume opportunities) ⸻
