  • 7P•7A Pay•$32/hr•$37/hr The Night Shift Maintenance Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment throughout the battery manufacturing facility.
This position plays a critical role in minimizing downtime, supporting production goals, and ensuring all electrical systems operate safely and efficiently. The Maintenance Electrician must follow all company safety policies, electrical codes, and environmental regulations while working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, electronic, and control systems on manufacturing equipment. Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment. Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, motors, drives, sensors, relays, switches, transformers, and control panels. Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled equipment and automated manufacturing systems. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams. Perform root cause analysis on equipment failures and implement corrective actions. Maintain and repair conveyors, automated assembly equipment, robotic systems, and industrial machinery. Support production teams by responding quickly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance situations. Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement projects. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, NFPA standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and company safety policies. Accurately document maintenance activities, repairs, parts usage, and work orders. Communicate equipment issues, repairs, and recommendations to supervisors and production personnel. Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S and housekeeping standards. Participate in safety meetings, training programs, and continuous improvement initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned.
