Duties Operate fiber jetting equipment to install and maintain fiber optic cables within underground conduits, ensuring optimal placement and performance Use hand tools and mechanical devices to prepare conduit pathways and assist with cable pulling processes Perform routine inspections of cabling infrastructure, identifying issues related to electrical or telecommunication components Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including cable routes Collaborate with team members on field service projects, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times Requirements Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot electrical or network issues efficiently Physical ability to perform fieldwork including lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and working outdoors in various conditions This job does require travel out of town as needed.
