Job Description

Position:
UAS Technician Core Responsibilities Assemble, test, and maintain unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and associated ground systems. Perform routine inspections, repairs, and component replacements on aircraft, payloads, and control equipment. Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software issues using diagnostic tools and documentation. Quality assure electrical components used within the UAS. Document all maintenance actions and system configurations in internal tracking systems. Desired Background / Skills (Transferable Experience) Preferred electrical, computer hardware repair, and/or soldering technical background. Ability to read wiring diagrams, electronic schematics, and assembly manuals. Teamwork oriented and respectful. Strong hands-on electrical aptitude — e.g., automotive, RC hobby, electronics repair, or drone building. Moderate understanding of wiring, soldering, and crimping connectors. Experience using hand tools, multimeters, oscilloscopes and test equipment. Moderate Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems Willingness to learn core UAS systems hardware and software to be used in troubleshooting. Attention to detail and pride in neat, repeatable assembly work. Ability to follow standard operating procedures and maintain accurate records. Preferred Skills (Trainable) Familiarity with flight control systems (flight controllers and ground stations) Low Voltage DC electronics troubleshooting Self-reliant with ability to learn through hands-on experience. Ability to document clearly.
