Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive and equipment repair, with hands-on experience in diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues. This role involves working in various environments, providing exceptional customer service while performing repairs and maintenance on a range of vehicles and equipment. Duties Perform diagnostics and repairs on generators. Utilize schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems and mechanical components. Conduct routine maintenance, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Operate hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and installations. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding repair needs and solutions. Assist in heavy lifting tasks as required during equipment installation or repairs. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects. Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to automotive and equipment repair. Qualifications Previous experience is preferred. Proven service technician experience with a focus on equipment repair. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with hand tools, power tools. Electrical experience is essential for troubleshooting complex systems. Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed in the field. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction. Experience in sales is advantageous but not required. Soldering skills are beneficial for electrical repairs.
