Equipment Service Technician

Pay:

$24.00 - $28.00 per hour Job description: Lamplighter Cafe Services is hiring in our technical service department. This is a dynamic position as an equipment service technician that has basic office operational skills. Primary technician work is to repair and service coffee and espresso related equipment. Lamplighter Cafe Services was created as a dedicated coffee equipment division from a long standing Bozeman based coffee roasting company. We have nearly 20 years of experience selling, servicing, and repairing coffee equipment. Requirements include but not limited to: Mechanically inclined and mechanical problem solving capabilities. Ability to work cohesively with customers and coworkers. Having a strong level of self management with work load, customer contact, email and voicemail response, etc. This job will require daily, scheduled work to be successfully completed, but is not a position that includes a guidebook with daily work instructions. Self motivation and self management skills are a must. Basic office management skills including the ability to interact successfully with a service company specific software dispatch program. Ability to help organize and maintain parts inventory. Knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems is helpful. Previous experience in HVAC and appliance repair is a bonus. Basic Tool Knowledge. Ability for critical thinking/troubleshooting and communicating with vendor tech support when necessary. Team Player in a dynamic working environment. Stay organized under pressure. Valid Drivers License.
