JOB SUMMARY
This position is for Table Technician ensuring proper operation tables/equipment and the maintenance and repair of both tables and all associated equipment.
JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ø Endorse the business objectives, ethics, and values of Caesars Entertainment in accordance with the Code of Commitment and Mission, Vision and Values Ø Conduct preventative maintenance on Table Games with detailed records Ø Maintain a sense of urgency in responding to calls over the radio Ø Take initiative to provide internal and external service to guest, co-workers and supervisors Ø Clean, repair and diagnosis of faulty shufflers, corrects minor mechanical issues, electrical and electronic failures and in depth troubleshooting etc. Ø Maintain, install and clean table game signage and ensures proper operation Ø Provide preventative maintenance to roulette wheels and other table related devices Ø Conduct follow-ups on repairs or parts requested Ø Install, convert, upgrade and move gaming tables in specified time frame with 100% accuracy Ø Ensure games and related equipment are communicating properly with in house monitoring/recording system(s) Ø Posses the ability to work in an individual or team environment Ø Maintain, replace and repair table layouts, table rails, etc. Ø Repair and maintain gaming supplies such as toke boxes, discard rack, chip trays etc. Ø Complete a repair log and maintain information and data via excel and e-mail Ø Participative member of the team by volunteering and being involved with projects, committees, and task forces by providing input and suggestions Ø Proactive with incidents and issues, ensuring that they are resolved Ø Invoke service recovery as needed Ø Adhere to internal controls, departmental, and company policies/procedures in an ethical manner
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Ø High school diploma or GED required Ø One year electronics Training, Certification, Technical School or experience preferred Ø Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and meet company driver eligibility requirements, including fewer than three moving violations and fewer than three accidents within the past three years, and no disqualifying driving-related incidents within the past three years, including suspension of driving privileges, DUI/DWI convictions, reckless driving convictions, two or more speeding violations exceeding 25 mph over the posted speed limit, or any citation for unlawful cell phone use while operating a vehicle Ø Must demonstrate the following essential knowledge and skills: Ø Knowledge of principles and practices of basic carpentry, electricity and general maintenance Ø Knowledge of tools, parts, supplies and equipment used in basic carpentry and general maintenance. Ø Operating computer hardware and software pertaining to the setup and maintenance of electronic table devices Ø Proficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Ø Excellent attendance record in previous positions Ø Demonstrate high levels of required service skills on a consistent basis Ø Delight our guests with outstanding service Ø Demonstrated teamwork behaviors and attitudes Ø Excellent oral and written communication skills Ø Capable of working independently and taking initiative Ø Follow written and oral communications Ø Attention to detail Ø Basic electronics knowledge Ø Use of hand tools Ø Use of multi-meter or fluke (AC/DC volts and Continuity test) Ø Use of manufacturers test equipment Ø Neat, professional appearance with excellent personal hygiene
PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
Ø Must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations Ø Must be able to lift 300 pounds using a dolly Ø Must be able to lift 100 pounds with team lifting Ø Must be able to lift 50 pounds manually Ø Must be able to maneuver to all areas of casino Ø Must be able to stoop, bend, reach, kneel, twist, crawl and grip items Ø Must be able to be on feet for long periods of time Ø Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues Ø Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English Ø Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality including secondhand smoke Ø Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays This is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, requirements, or working conditions associated with the job.
