Friday Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Automation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial automation and maintenance, with the ability to work on various systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience on automation integration.
Essential Functions:
Comply with all company and statutory safety and environmental rules to ensure the well-being of all departmental employees. Monitor equipment and processes to detect problems affecting quality and efficiency. Diagnose problems and implement solutions into existing and new processes. Develop preventative maintenance plans for equipment and processes. Build and or repair EOAT and fixtures. Must understand the manufacturing process and role. Ability to back up and optimism automation programs. Utilize vision inspection systems for quality control Detect and resolve issues in automation systems Calibrate equipment to maintain optimal performance
Required Education & Experience:
Proven experience in automation technology and maintenance High School diploma or equivalent required Solid background in Plastics processing Experience working with KUKA, and Krauss Maffei three to six axis robots required Experience with Microsoft Office systems Strong background with electrical and pneumatics, including vacuum systems required. Proficiency in automated quality inspection systems required Proficiency with equipment monitoring systems required Experience with lean initiatives required Familiarity with industrial machinery and processes Ability to work independently and in a team environment Strong problem-solving skills Excellent communication and organizational abilities Ability to read, write and communicate in English required
