Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Test Technician to join our team. The Test Technician will play a crucial role in supporting our testing operations by providing specialized mechanical expertise, instrumentation installation and maintenance, test support and truck mechanical work. This role requires excellent mechanical ability, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and maintain instrumentation for testing purposes. Assist in truck setup, test setup execution, and teardown. Collaborate with test engineers to execute test plans effectively. Provide feedback on test procedures and outcomes. Assist engineers with technician/mechanic tasks such as part swapping, cable routing, and sensor installation. Utilize strong diagnostic skills and critical thinking to address challenges in real-time. Adhere to test plans, prescribed modules, and routes. Demonstrate situational awareness and exercise good judgement, especially regarding safety concerns. Perform temporary repairs to prevent downtime during testing. Familiarize oneself with all vehicle systems and operations. Proficiently use computer, tablet, and mobile phone devices for documentation and communication purposes.
