Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and versatile Maintenance Staff member to ensure the optimal operation and upkeep of our facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining building systems, performing repairs, and supporting the overall safety and functionality of our environment. Your expertise will help create a safe, efficient, and welcoming space for employees, visitors, and residents alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills across a variety of maintenance tasks while contributing to a well-maintained facility. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), carpentry, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal operation. Repair electrical equipment using schematics, hand tools, and electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters. Conduct HVAC system repairs and maintenance to sustain indoor comfort levels. Execute plumbing system maintenance and repairs, including fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and replacing fixtures. Utilize welding skills for metal repairs or fabrication projects as needed. Carry out painting tasks for building interior maintenance and aesthetic upkeep. Maintain facilities equipment by troubleshooting issues with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical systems, or mechanical components. Use schematics and technical manuals to diagnose problems accurately and implement effective solutions. Support building interior maintenance projects such as carpentry repairs or facility upgrades. Assist with maintenance painting projects to improve the appearance of common areas or exteriors. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or residents. Lead small team initiatives or assist in training new team members in proper maintenance procedures. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related fields involving repair and operations (MRO). Strong electrical experience including troubleshooting electrical equipment and working with electrical schematics. Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and specialized repair equipment. Familiarity with HVAC systems repair, including diagnosing issues with heating, ventilation, air conditioning units, and controls. Experience with plumbing system maintenance and repair techniques. Knowledge of welding techniques for metal fabrication or repairs is preferred. Ability to read technical schematics and schematics related to electrical or mechanical systems. Basic leadership skills with a proactive approach to safety protocols and team collaboration. Fluency in English for effective communication within a diverse team environment. Pay:
$13.00 - $15.00 per hour
