Pay Estimated:

Responsibilities:

Provide hands-on technical support to engineering teams by fabricating, testing, troubleshooting, and improving prototype electro-mechanical systems and specialized equipment. Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and diagrams to support prototype development Construct, modify, debug, troubleshoot, calibrate, test, and adjust tools, equipment, and electro-mechanical systems Support design, check-out, fabrication, and assembly of prototype hardware and experimental circuitry Conduct statistically based experiments to define and optimize process parameters Analyze and document experimental results; identify cause-and-effect relationships Implement and document process improvements and complex technical solutions Design and fabricate basic tooling and fixtures for unique or one-off engineering tasks Support laser/light transmission devices and specialized test equipment as needed

Qualifications:

U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law Associate's degree in a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience) Minimum 3+ years of hands-on engineering technician or prototype fabrication experience

Technical Expertise:

Advanced machining using manual and CNC equipment (HAAS mills, 4-axis & 5-axis mills, lathes) Proficient in SolidWorks and/or CAM software Ability to fabricate complex hardware and prototype assemblies Working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) Experience using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, etc.) Knowledge of fabrication tools and general technical theory

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift 50 lbs minimum

Work Requirements:
